  • First FH title for 9th-gen only — no Xbox One version allowed more ambitious design
  • Tokyo had its own dedicated development team due to size and complexity
  • The team split into two groups for the first time: one for Tokyo, one for the rest of Japan
  • Elevation-based biome system replaced the zone-based approach from FH5
