Touge Battles — Mountain Pass Duels

Touge (峠) battles are 1-on-1 downhill mountain pass races, inspired by Japanese street racing culture and Initial D.

How It Works

  • Lead / Chase format: lead driver stays ahead, chase overtakes
  • 5 preset mountain passes across the map
  • Single-player: opponents parked at each route — race anytime
  • Online championship: rotating playlist of 1v1 battles across all 5 routes
  • Unlock: ~1 hour in (after entering Horizon Festival)

Tips for Touge

TipDetail
Drift, don't gripRear-wheel drive and drift tunes outperform grip builds on narrow roads
Know the courseMemorize corner sequences — one mistake ends your run
Block the insideWhen leading, protect the racing line into corners
Late brakeThe chase car can brake later — use the tow to close in
